They do but they have a nasty habit of starting each game with 2 players and when they're scored against one goes off and another, slightly less talented player, comes on in his place.  They have a nasty habit of losing 11-0.

It's being reported that the Socceroos will be playing Chile in Australia some time in October.. Will most likely be a kind of "farewell" match ala the Paraguay one at Suncorp after the last World Cup..

There's FIFA match days on Oct 9 & 13, and Suncorp Stadium IS free during that time frame (and we have a home game a few days later on Oct 16 vs the Jets).

EDIT : Of course Suncorp has that time free, there's no matches that international week in the HAL.... :P

This is good news.  Will give the new coach a great opportunity to look at players in the lead up to the Asian Cup.

Yep for sure.. IMO I think it'd be a good idea to have a few training camps for HAL players too in the week of international games.. You know, just get the elite boys together to work on a few things with maybe an assistant NT coach etc..

A couple more friendlies coming up.. 2 in Europe in September

That'll be when the qualifiers start for Euro 2012, so I'll have to see which nations won't be playing that week.....

As hosts, Poland & Ukraine will have free dates each match-day

3 Sept - Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Czech Rep
7 Sept - Estonia, Northern Ireland, Wales, Cyprus, Spain

The Swiss and Spain would be awsome! ... otherwise I'd settle for Wales as it'd be a good test for the younger up-and-comers prior to the Asian cup.

You have the German game listed for March 2010. Where did you hear the rumour for that game btw?
