hopefully we have atleast 1 striker on the park this time...

Knowing our luck, it'll be Scott McDonald.  :P

Australia Go Up In Rankings

AUSTRALIA have gone up three places in the latest FIFA rankings to 21st place in the world, nine spots ahead of nearest Asian rivals Japan who moved up three to 30th position.

The improvement in the rankings comes after the 1-0 win over Paraguay gave new coach Holger Osieck an undefeated start to his national team role.

Elsewhere in the ranking Spain stayed top, ahead of Holland while Brazil leapfrogged Germany into third spot.

Butone of the biggest moves was Russia who shot up 15 places from behind Australia last moth to 10th in the world, even despite not qualifying for the 2010 World Cup.

South Africa flops France also moved up in the rankings, improving nine places to 18th despite their disastrous World Cup campaign, while Italy slipped back another three places to 16th.

Croatia also shed the memory of their 2006 World Cup exit thanks to the Socceroos to also move up, rising two places to take a top ten slot at number nine, even though they also missed out on the World Cup this year.

Further down the ranking tiny Montenegro also shot up the ladder, moving 14 places from 40th to 26th,while New Zealand slipped out of the top 50, falling two places to 51st.

England stood firm at sixth position even with the furore of Fabio Capello's lacklustre management, but Scotland plummeted 10 places to 57th, a fall of 44 places in just three years, while Wales fell 20 places to 104th.

Australia Slip In FIFA Rankings

AUSTRALIA have slipped six places to 26th spot in FIFA's latest rankings on the eve of the Asian Cup after last month's humiliating 3-0 loss to Egypt.

Holger's Osieck's Socceroos are still the number one ranked nation in Asia - but are now just three places ahead of Japan who moved up one slot to 29th.

Australia are at their lowest position since June 2009 when they were 29th before shooting up to 16th position the following month and have hovered around the top 20 ever since - until this month.

The Socceroos are now ranked behind Slovakia, USA and Paraguay, Switzerland, Serbia and Montenegro.

At the top of the table, Spain and Holland remain in first and second slots but Germany swapped places again with Brazil for third.

Argentina, England, Uruguay and? Portugal stayed where they were while Egypt and Croatia also swapped places to round out the top ten.

USA were the biggest movers this month, surging six places to 18th place. New Zealand slipped four places to 63rd.

Australia
China PR

Should get through that group no worries.  China only one to cause any minor headaches.
