There's this Brazilian short film I have to go and watch again. It's called "Duas Meninas Uma Xicara"

It's hard to explain, but it involves 2 women... well, more like 2 girls, and they're in a classroom, and over the course of the movie, their inner desire erupts in a sea of, at times, actual human emissions for each other. There's also an object used which is pivotal to the story, and it captures the human spirit quite effortlessly.

i've been working my way thru my dvd collection again lately and just recently have been watching

Clerks 1 & 2
Grandma's Boy
Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle
Hot Tub Time Machine
Role Models
Step Brothers
Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels
The Rise Of The Footsoldier
Banksy Exit Through The Gift Shop

Wouldn't mind catching the new Simon Pegg movie that's due out soon Paul with Seth Rogen doing the voice of Paul the alien.

I'm yet to watch Scott Pilgrim but will probably pick it up soon and add it to the collection for those times when there's nothing on and some my friends tend to use me as there local video store and borrow dvd's off me all the time.

Been 3 years since I last saw a movie at the cinemas.... :o

And even with a roommate with an insane amount of DVDs, I find it hard to just sit down and watch one. I'm kinda the "need others to watch it with" movie viewer now.

I'm similar.  My work organised a screening of The King's Speech and I think it was the first cinema I'd visited in about five years.  I also don't like watching DVD's on my own - if I'm at home alone and want entertainment, I'll play computer games instead.  And when we do watch DVDs at home, it's TV shows in nice concise episodes, rather than two hour movies.  My attention span is the real problem...I haven't got one.  :P

Probably not the ideal thread for you two, then.  ;)  :P
