maybe try a new drum... I'm no percussionist.. BUT the dream we used (whatever sort it is) drowns out the actual voices... maybe it has too much bass? if you sit in 333 or 331... you cant hear the singing over the voices....
Not sure if another thread has been made for the next meeting.. But here is something too discuss..Have the front 6-7 rows empty, and full them with banners, etc.Row 7 or 8, have the main cappo with megaRow 10-11 have the core active group who carries on chants started by cppoRow 12 have the drumRow 17 or so, have another person with a mega who carries on the chant started by the cappo/core group..Money for the second mega could be raised at the pre season matches.
I agree with the thinking of 'brisbane' as well although I don't know how practical filling the first 6-7 rows with banners is. The club might have something to say about that when it comes to season tickets and selling tickets in the Den for big matches. The structure I agree with tho. Infact my idea is to have a few people leading chants with a core group around the drum and people up the middle of the bay (up and down from the middle group) with megas to carry the sound up and down. Even get the row 19 lads in on it as a second core group further up the bay.Like Mattt said, it's how the Japanese do it. Seeing how they did it in Urawa really opened my eyes to how good it can be with a bit of organisation.
The amount of times i have watched their tifosi, WOW !
