You can always tell an armchair expert.....they only ever offer negativity and criticism.....never constructive advice or how to fix things .....I wonder why that is

What advice can I give? The only experience I have is playing till the age of 13 and football manager. Does this mean that I can't have an opinion? When I worked as a chef you'd occasionally get some armchair expert who'd whinge and bitch and offer nothing constructive. If people aren't happy with a product they will, usually, complain. They don't necessarily know how to remedy the mistake but they realise that a mistake has been made. The product on offer this morning was poor and as a consumer I have every right to complain.I take it that you were happy with the performance? or if not that you don't feel qualified to pass judgement?

After watching TWG its pretty clear that the panel said that the state of football is basically in a mess, old players that everyone criticise and young players that can't step up. Kruse looked like a wombat, Davidson well.......Olyroos that don't qualify, seriously don't you think its time that you get a qualified coach thats not paid by someone in the loop to do the selecting and you might get some quality to step up and obviously stop wasteing money that the country doesn't have and start clearing the deadwood, and stop promoting the deadwood so that the country doesnt get the stigma of producing crap. Develop quality or fizzle on so many levels. Just like the a league, there are better players just like that Usai kid, roar wouldn't touch him and where is he now? You've got strikers that haven't scored in YEARS and there still being shuffed and developed it just becomes pathetic, there are players that probably couldn't step up to the BPL and are with the u20, u23 and a league. You can only talk up so much the bottom will fall out, you have to have balls to clean it up.
Well Jj, if there's a revolution to be had, I suggest you get off this board right this very second and go lead it. Heaven forbid you just sit behind a keyboard expecting others to do your bidding. That'd just be lazy. No, no, you just go and resurrect the game there Jj. We'll be waiting.
Being patient is how aust got where they are now. Friendly sad games no olympics team qualifying and hows the a league ? How many players are commercially viable to bring life into a struggling sport. Name one player in all the A League that draws interest instead of drawing money.Time is what you haven't got and if you can't clean OUT the deadwood the outlook won't be promising.

Not to mention the USA where things look to be improving every season. we can't expect the HAL to be at it's best after only 7 seasons. now I don't expect the HAL to be as good as the EPL, but for me and i'm sure a number of others. How many games did you actually go to last season.
