Small venue.
There were 1900 for Jets Victory FFA Cup game last season in Newcastle, and 2866 at Hume City.
You would suspect most of those attendees were home supporters.
So perhaps not many Victory fans will be coming.

I would hope we have our other signings sorted before this game. JA has another month, and given what he was saying, it sounded like he already had players in mind. I'd assume Victory will be another club to beat this season and would prove a good measure of where the squad is at.

Perth and Wello knocked out of the cup tonight, Melbourne City progress.
Gosford playing away at Blacktown and Sydney away to Darwin tomorrow night.

Also on the local front we have GGCFC and Moreton Bay United playing at home tomorrow night.

Well done Heidelberg. I thought they really took the game to Perth and it definitely wasn't just a "lucky" win. They deserved it.

Blacktown downed Gosford.
Sydney outclassed Darwin.
GGCFC and Moreton Bay Jets through to represent Queensland in the next round.
One more Qld team left to play next week (FNQ) and us versus the Tards. Would be nice to have four Qld teams in the next round, but I think FNQ have a tough job ahead of them with Sydney United.

The young striker for GGCFC got a hat trick, played with Sheffield Wednesday in his teens and returned to join Sydney, but it appears that contract amounted to nothing. May be worth keeping an eye on. Still only 23.

Sorry CR, didn't realise you had posted this. I posted up a topic in the match day discussions section.
