That is the answer.

Aloisi needs to go full Italiano.

Four at the back with a Libero in front of back four but supporting and providing cover for the back four especially if fullbacks attack.

All opposition strikers man marked.

Put North in Libero position.

Step one is to stop leaking goals and get some points on the board by ehat ever means that are legal.

Release the midgets from defensive  responsibilities- let them create space and passing options.

With a solid platform, Strikers could have options

Agree that North would be better suited as a sweeper than a RB. He has a lot of positional intelligence and good passing accuracy.

With news that Brown is out indefinitely, there is going to be another reshuffle of the back line.
Defensive structure is not going to get better any time soon.
What is happening with the strength and conditioning at Roar?

we dont have a strength and conditioning coach (or at least the club hasnt announced one), last year it was Karl Dodd and i really didnt see what qualified him to fill that role (he also coped quite a bit of criticism from the aloisi's for how the team was prepped for the ACL). i have been saying all week, we look about 5 weeks behind where we should be, unfortunately the season could already be lost by the time we catch up

I cant comprehend a professional football team not having qualified health and fitness staff and not being able to get the team ready given the longest offseason on the planet.

The reality is that is that "Roar" is a full time professional sports club, you should have a full time professional health team, covering many disciplines such as sports physo's, and specialised fitness coaches.

Players need one on one, identifying there weakness and improving them.

Footballers are now athletes these days, the days of drinking/smoking then playing the next are well over

These backroom staff are just as important as the players.

We can just add it to list of everything wrong with the club :(

yes i need more evidence, I dont think the season is gone just yet (i dont think we can compete for the title). in 5 weeks there are still 19 rounds to go, if we win 60% (quite a low percentage but im being realistic) of those we can still get 34 points which should be enough to make finals. a good run of form and we could do better, and we still have the ACL so i am definitely not writing off the season yet.

I have said it plenty of times but i think we have enough spark up front to compete, we need to find a midfield 3 that works together and desperately need some organisation and calmer heads at the back. the foundation is there its just players heads (both motivation and fitness) right now.
