Blackwood would be a  good pickup.  He's still very young and working with JA would be good for him.

Hoole has gone to Mariners so he won't be playing on our wing.

Sydney confirm Blackwood released. I believe he is in the U23 national squad which to me reveals Sydney's total lack of commitment to youth development.
He was the only player they had in the squad.
They won't care as long as they stay up near the top of the tree.

Can't say I rate him. Has flashes of brilliance but is very inconsistent IMO.

He needs to score more goals. Until he does, he's something of a luxury player.

* Kosta Barbarouses has been granted a release from Wellington Phoenix.
* Dimitri Petratos is leaving Hyundai Ulsan FC by mutual consent.

Rumour is that Barbarouses will head back to Victory who look unlikely to keep Troisi because of his high wage demands.

I saw mention of Troisi going to Brighton maybe.
Barbarouses to Victory would rule out Kruse to Victory possibly.
A lot will depend on how Troisi and Kruse go with the national team.
I already have one wish come true with the signing of FBK and if we could get Robbie Kruse as RW that would be another.
What news on Papa and JC?

Last change in Europe for Troisi. Arguably too late.

Finsta, Are you by any chance keeping track of all the overseas transfers - successes & failures?

Bulut also a free agent. Would pass.

Good job on dimi getting a 3 month pay bump and earning the roar and jets 150k transfer.

Surplus to requirements in the German third division.  Talk about a career down the toilet.

Hey Sep
I've only really kept track of the immediate club that a Roar player have taken off to. Refer attached (no doubt pretty outdated)

So Rado is  named as assistant at the Phoenix.
When Roar played Phoenix at Suncorp on 25th Feb, Rado sat a few rows behind me. I took a selfie with him in the frame. Was a cringeworthy lost 1-2.
Coincidence?
Or was the Phoenix gig on the horizon as far back as then?

I noticed Rado at many Roar games, I believe he was keeping himself up to date with the league ready for the next opportunity..
