Jumpei has left the Wanderers. Heading back to Japan.

Jacob Melling released as well, talk of him heading to the Mariners.

Melling would be useful. He is quite fit. Better defender than Mckay or Oxborrow. Not as creative but can work box to box. He is a good age! (and disciplinary record that matches the roar this year).

Antonis is a great get for Victory.. I can only think that maybe Troisi is looking to move on.

I thought he played as more of a defensive mid, so would be replacing Valeri?

Maybe I'm mistaking? I was thinking of him more as an offensive midfielder..

He played in a DM role at Wanderers, but my guess is that he will be used further forward.

Did anyone catch Just For Kicks last night? They did a story on new Jets recruit Patricio Rodriguez. He looks like an absolute gun and he's only 27.

I believe he's only on an injury replacement contract so it may be a free for all at the end of the season of he has a blinder... We should have 2 Marquee spots open since I can't see Holman nor Maccarone being kept on.

I would have to think that Eric is on a backended deal and will be marquee next season but we should have 1 space free.

I think that, with a new coach, Zullo will be first choice LB at the World Cup.  Ange had something against him.

I highly doubt that he will be LB under a new coach unless it is Arni, and even then you would think that Gersbach would get the nod over him. An international coach will definitely go Gersbach, Behich, Smith (if he is playing or at least training), Goodwin over Zullo.

I have nothing against him (i went to school with him and played football with him) but I just cant see a coach picking him above the others unless its arni

Yeah Zullo would still be behind Gersbach, Behich and Smith in the pecking order.
