Yeah a great pick up. Out of left field really it seems.. Something that would've been brilliant for us I think.

Definitely a good pick up, but I would assume he will be gone at the end of the season.

Maybe.. If he gets good game time maybe and he's keen to stay there may be an option in the loan deal for WSW to buy him out.

Brisbane is simply not an attractive city to young footballers. Young guys prefer to be in Sydney or Melbourne. There is more culture and ass there.

Brisbane is a city where the A-League team plays in an empty stadium most of the time; sometimes in front of 1200 or so at a university somewhere.
Brisbane is a city where the A-League team has a history of not paying its players in the past.
Brisbane is a city where the A-League team's strip disintegrates during a major tournament.
Brisbane is a city where the A-League team has a low level of support for a city of its size.
Brisbane is a city where the A-League team where the fitness team up and leave and under the new franchise the club is unable to field a fit side.
Brisbane is a city where the A-League team is basically playing for pride this season
Brisbane is a city where the A-League team where the owners show absolutely no interest in football
Brisbane is a city where the A-League team does not even have a major sponsor. Can you believe that!
Brisbane is a city  where the media interest is dominated by other sports
Brisbane is a city where the Socceroos seem to have stopped playing fixtures
What is not to like for a young player?

That is a very, very depressing list.

Every point is true.

Yet I'd still give my left nut to get an opportunity to play professional football for the club!

Sadly, left nuts, on their own, have limited resale value.

I'd probably play for peanuts too!

Do they sell better as a pair?

Nichols leaves Perth.
Sad that a once Bright Prospect is now referred to as an A-League Journeyman. It just did not work out for the lad.

Despite his sometimes very visible anti Roar sentiments (returned in bucket loads by the Roar supporters) I wish him well dealing with the family reasons mentioned.

Agee, CL. He had so  much promise when he was 18/19.  Even then, though, I thought he had two fatal flaws - his temperament, and lack of pace. Apart from that one season with us when he bagged 10, he's never scored enough goals for his position.

He had a purple patch under Ange, who seemed the only coach able to bring the best out of him.  He might be a good pickup for the Mariners.

Great player when in full flight but he never got any top level consistency other than his time under Ange at Brisbane.

Should've really kicked on like Kruse and also Oar but just didn't get there.
