Ref should be stripped of his whistle. Absolutely bullshit call to not give a red card for the handball penalty. Then doesn't give fouls for clear cut fouls. Pitch is god awful too

Is the pitch that bad, is the weather that sticky, but they look like they can't control or pass the ball!

Mooy looks like he had a night on the town an is still feeling the itch to get back into the clubs. Poor passing, poor vision, poor effort to get the ball back.

Jamie withdrawn after again getting no service. Feel sorry for him. Mooy, Kruse and Leckie all playing like trash.

edit - not to mention the awful defense.

Agree, But most of the team were like that.

Very poor performance. One of those games where the players "expected" to win even before taking the pitch.

It seems that we still can't shake the mentality that easy games on paper will be just that and therefore we don't have to be 100% focused. This is the first time it's happened.

Even just a few games back, Devere would wipe the floor against sainsbury as a centre back, that whole back line in general was pathetic. How is Leckie a socceroo? let alone a starter?

it's embarrassing, considering we have guys like Rogic (Celtic), Mooy (Huddersfield), Kruse (Leverkusen), Ryan (Valencia) and a bunch of others in bundesliga, championship or even premier league and can't even attack or defend.

What an insipid display. I'm glad that I fell asleep during the half time bollocks.

Kruse is underdone and his interplay with Mooy was woeful. It was as if the two had never met let alone played on the same team. Rogic seemed to lose interest and I can't see Leckie scoring again for us. The expectation and want have built up too Scott McDonald proportions now.

And did anyone else see our supporters and instantly assume sexual predators on tour? Blanket statement I know but I've not seen a bigger bunch of miscreants and ne'er do wells since the last time I sat in the public gallery down in Canberra.

I was there at the ground and a few things might have contributed to the lackluster performance
1. Humid. So so so so so humid. Even sitting in the stands was uncomfortable.
2. Atmosphere - the Thais really know how to get behind their home team. I suspect this was the most hostile crowd the 'roos have seen in quite some time.
3. Too long in Thailand in leadup - probably led the players to think they were on holiday.

Trojan - There was a group down the front who were entirely embarrassing.. sadly my seats were just behind them :( most of them were "ex-pat" aussies living abroad... had obviously lost their social graces and ability to function in public.
