WHy not play the games in Perth, as already decided then three cities which are looking to get A-league... eg Canberra, one from Tasmania, perhaps Wollongong.  Next round can be in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne as per usual.

it would be a good way to guage interest for new team.....

I know it would attract a lot of interest in those regions for a Socceroos game but I'm not sure it would be entirely comparable to having an HAL team in said regions

I am!  Cracking opening minute but making very heavy weather of it since.  Not sure if it's the pitch but the amount of turnovers is worrying.

Well the pitch cannot be helping the turnover rate..... they said it was bumpy so that will affect the passing game a lot

Watched but avoided the computer until after the game.

One of the weirdest matches I have watced for ages. Kyrgizi have a few very good players and reasonable organization. They could be a central asian power in a few years if they can continue to get game time against good opposition on better pitches.

The match reminded me of division two high school matches 30 years ago. One good team coming to terms with poor conditions, against a team that has a few players that know what they are doing, making the match more even looking than it actually is.

The women were more entertaining and skillfull this morning.
