WC: Aus v Syria

Depressed.

With each game we get worse.

How do you give a player his debut in such a crucial game - this is Ange declaring that after so many games and so many players used he still doesn't know his best eleven.

Ange during the week said Ante can leave with his blessing to take up the Coaches job at WSW - WTF, in the middle of qualification!, he basically announces, sure Ante can go, don't really need him any way , 'cause I'm really the man and I don't need any help.

We may stumble through to the last stage in Sydney, but I have very little hope we can win against the 4th best CONCACAF team.

Agree completely.

I personally have given up any hope we be in Russia.  A poor team, poorly coached.

I look at this side compared to what we had in years past, and I despair.

Jurman - starting for Australia - in a WC qualifier? What the hell.

I always wonder, Australia is supposed to lift and become world beaters whenever we play "better" teams, yet we expect sides ranked lower than us to just roll over and let us win.

When you see players with sweat literally pouring off them 30 minutes into the first half, you know the heat and humidity are going to be a great leveler. Add in a bumpy pitch and a team that's exceptionally highly motivated and confident at the moment, it was never likely that Australia would run away with the game.

Could Australia play better? Definitely.

Has Oz improved since Ange switched formation? I think so. The defence looked a lot more solid to me, and better finishing in the first 60 minutes would have seen the game done and dusted.

You can't blame Ange for players not finishing well.
I see it, but I do not believe it!

Ange: crazy team selections, crazy systems, and crazy boring predictable malakia at the back.

I feel so sorry for the fans of the next team he manages.
