Worth noting, the prices for tickets have dropped by an average of $4. Not much, but helps. Family group tickets have dropped by roughly $10

Perth (Sam Kerr!!) v Roar Women looks like the game to be at. But 1:30! In the heat is rough.

Must win game for JA.  Even a draw will see the sharpening of the axe.

Youngest team in the comp v the oldest.  They have too much pace for us in attack, but luckily their defence is rubbish.

I have no idea what the Bakries are trying to achieve by investmenting in the  Roar and have seen no indication that they have specific expectations for JA to achieve. It would be useful to know. Bizarely, they do not even sponsor the shirt? Is it just a money laundering exercise? Who knows?
JA did say on the record that he would extend his contract only if the Bakries met his demands. Presumably they did and hence he extended his contract.
Perhaps the conversation have been held between the owners and JA but certainly not publicly.
My point being that whilst some fans and the Murdoch media feel JA is under achieving, (and let's face it, 1 point from 12 and possibly 15 is not good), there is no evidence that the Bakries are worried. And no evidence of any care factor among the general public either.
So I can't see JA being under threat,

Well to be fair...there is never any information from the bakries. They are unpredictable. I didn't see ja as being much different to kingsman from the bakries perspective. He's just an employee.

theo out with a Finger injury that he has apparently been carrying since early in preseason. theo apparently wanted to play but JA ruled him out. I think with the enforced changes we will actually be better set up. No idea why JA had to wait for injuries to make the changes, it seemed pretty obvious where we were being let down

hingert----Papa---North----Ingham
--------Oxborow---------------------
-----------------------Mckay---------
FBK--------Holeman-------Beutheac
----------------Big Mac--------------

white--o'tool--calettie--skapetis--gameiro

personally i would start skapetis, and have holeman on the bench with FBK playing in the 10 role but there is no way Aloisi will do that.

I'd prefer O'Toole over Ingham, just because he is an actually left back, as opposed to a right winger who JA has tried to turn into a right back. Would also start Skapetis over FBK. He would do well with his pace against a not so great defense and could be a great game for him to build his confidence.

I hope you're wrong, CR.  More of this would set our club back a decade.

What I really cannot understand is why the Bakries turned down that $10 million offer for the club.  But it does encourage me to think that they won't tolerate JA's failures and will pull the plug.

yeah I would definitely make changes to that line up if i was in charge but that is what i think JA will go with. holeman still doesnt look 100% and he tends to not play well unless he is so i would start him on the bench. I dont know much about o'tool so cant really compare him with Ingham but i think Ingham doesnt loose much playing at LB compared to RB and definitely think RB will become his prefered position. he seems to do well coming from deep rather than starting up higher

I would def play O?Toole at left back before Ingam who is a right winger , o Toole has played left back for Aus u 20s and also Centre back .probs won?t happen though as JA seems to be getting Ingam ready for Kiwi Nat team duty , lol
Hope we see Gameiro at some stage tmro as we really need a bit of pace on the wing tbh

10m doesn't come close to the reported 40m the bakries have spent.  Although no stats on whether that is a net loss.

Perhaps the club is part of a tax evasion scheme.

Rubbish game.

Both teams looking like contenders for the spoon.

Looks like the lowest crowd for a long time.

Good work JA.

That was incredibly poor.

Holman seems a spent force. FBK is a shadow of the player he was and McKay has lost his speed and passing ability.

We never looked like scoring and I was bored from the 15 minute mark on.

I didn't imagine that we could regress from the debacle that was last weeks first half against Wellington but somehow we have. Truly horrendous. I was looking forward to full time so I could go and do something enjoyable.

Worst performance for years. Awful.
Saved only by wasteful efforts by Mariners and incredible  stops by Young.
Bat shit is looking more interesting by the minute.
Where do you start to sort out this mess?

I actually decided to go and see this one live . What a rubbish . Holman sucks even more after watching him from stands . Eric is all class . I really enjoyed watching him play live . But unfortunately rest is just not up to standard. There is just no vibe between players and no believe they can make something happen . Wanted to see Oxborrow play more but now please bring Calleti back . Something has to give now otherwise we're done and dusted for this season .
