Lowest Suncorp home game attendance
« on: January 20, 2018, 08:25:56 AM »
Does anyone know what the lowest home game crowd for a A-League match at Suncorp is...

I noticed that the attendance was 6258 against Perth, i know its was a thursday's match..

But are people starting to not turn up to voice their discontent with JA and watching a over 35's team.

If the club was losing money, when we were getting 12-13k, they much be looking at their options now..

I seem to remember some years ago someone saying that the Suncorp deal had been renegotiated and break even point was 11,000 ...down from 15,000 previously. Can anyone confirm or deny this  ?

According to the Ultimate A-league website the lowest a-league attendance at Suncorp for Brisbane was in 2010/11 season rnd 23 against Wellington where a meagre 3522 people turned up.

That match was a rescheduled one from 16th January, played at Skilled (Robina) due to the floods.
